Visual Merchandising

Whilst I was a retail assistant at an independent clothing boutique, I was given the responsibility to undertake a visual merchandising role. For this, I had to create a vision for the window and cabinet displays for that week. I took into consideration which colour schemes were popular for the season, and formed outfits and jewellery stands which were visually pleasing. This was in an effort to entice the local shoppers into the store, and aid the success of sales.
